Discussion on Iran’s economy (Session 1 presentations)
This is the first session in a series of discussions about Iran’s economy; in the course of this series we try to provide an overview of Iran’s economy by covering the following topics:
Natural resources and their management
Organization and structure of a sound economy
Innovation and rule of the private sector in the economy
Banking and financial institution
Government’s role in the economy
Central planning, its precedent and success
Subsidies; welfare state, source of wealth in the nation
Central banking and monetary policy
Sessions are designed to be interactive, after each presentation we will open the floor for open discussion
